"Do It Again God" by Pastor Terry Bonner

Habakkuk 3:2 Message, "God, I’ve heard what our ancestors say about you, and I’m stopped in my tracks, down on my knees. Do among us what you did among them. Work among us as you worked among them."

it is not enough to KNOW about God.  You need to EXPERIENCE Him in your life. You Can't live on memories of yesterday. Memories inspire us to seek God more but they can never replace an actual relationship with Him.

God did amazing things in your past and He can do amazing things in your future.

TO RISE ABOVE YOUR PROBLEM: You Can't Live on Memories

He KNOWS GOD'S REPUTATION. God is famous.  Habakkuk had heard rumors about God. Stories Passed down from generation to Generation. But stories are not enough. He is asking God to show up again.  If you did it for my grandparents you can do it for Me.  If you rescued them you can rescue me If you healed them you can heal me. He is desperate for God to DO IT AGAIN!

RISE ABOVE YOUR PROBLEM: You Need To Worship While You Wait

Don't Let Your Emotions Cloud Your Judgement. It is one thing to trust God when things are going well.  When you are financially set and everyone is healthy. but quite another when the world is falling apart around you. Habakkuk is choosing to worship his way into believing that God will help him.

Psalm 66:1, "Shout joyful praises to God, all the earth!" We boldly state that we WILL WORSHIP HIM NO MATTER WHAT then we begin to find confidence in God / and the hopelessness of our situation begins to FADE AWAY. Because our situation is not in control of us.  God is!

RISE ABOVE YOUR PROBLEMS: Understand That You Were Created For A Higher Purpose

God will always enable you to accomplish what he has called you to do and more importantly, God will strengthen you to live life.

God strengthens us in several ways:

  1. He strengthens us to endure the ups and downs of life. God remains the same regardless of the situation around you.

  2. He strengthens us to go to higher levels of purpose. To go farther than we are willing to go naturally.

  3. He strengthens us to go to deeper levels of trust in Him.

“Let your life reflect the faith you have in God. Fear nothing and pray about everything. Be strong, trust God's word, and trust the process.” ― Germany Kent
